denial thy name is demi

Demi Moore turns 47 years old this week. She remains an undeniably beautiful woman, most likely through a combination of good genes, good luck, and access to the best treatments and work money can buy.

Such good work and treatments, in fact, that at first glance, she appears to give 26-year-old model Anja Rubik, who originally wore this stunning metallic body suit by Balmain on the runway this fall, a serious run for her money.

But wait. Look closer. Something is wrong.

See it?

Now, the photographer hired to shoot the photos for this cover, Anthony Citrano, has brazenly and publically called out both W and Demi on their laughable assertion that this is Demi's body. In a Tweeted statement, he lobs the ball into Demi's court: “@mrskutchner I started this, so I’ll (try to) finish it: $5k to charity if that’s really the original.”

And we thought only young women had to fight the fashion world's unrealistic expectations for body size.

bwahahahahahah. I will sleep better tonight knowing it wasn't her body. THANK YOU Bithces of Fashion.

Damn. Is nothing sacred?

Saw this on PhotoshopDisasters. I never would have noticed the fact that her hip is smaller than her thigh, because I just kept staring at her and thinking, "Damn, I wish I looked like that... or at least could afford some decent plastic surgery... and didn't like food so much... " Eh, never mind.

All: Who is anyone kidding, trying to get us to believe this is Demi's body? At least the photo of the gal on the runway looks real, albeit in that all-too-unfortunately-ubiquitous way that Eastern European Skeletorellas cruising on cigarettes, cocaine, and celery look real. But Demi? She looks like she's been pieced together from three or four different bodies. She's FrankenDemi!

LaDiva: Her face is stunning, which is why I don't for one Hollyweird minute believe that's her bod. Those über skinny-ass biatches age like strips of beef jerky – just check out Jackie O'Lantern and Helen Gurly You Got Too Much Plastic Surgery Brown. I'm willing to bet Demi's got some a that bouyant padding going on in real life – hence the photo choppy.

I also saw this on Photoshop Disasters. Surely editors can't think they can hide this type of stuff any more ... do they? At least they could have changed the color of the outfit! But hey, maybe Ashton took the photo with his little Nikon???

BTW, re photos on this page .. do I recognize the sword fight from an episode of America's Next Top Model? Some show had girls posing together like that ... can't recall now.

And Kymmie thinks I'm definitely an Eddie, dahling sweetie. But she's no Saffie.

Pam: Bwahahahahahah to the image of Ashton running around with his little Nikon! I have never watched America's Next Top Model, but the sword fighting gals is an image by the late great fashion photographer Helmut Newton. One of my favorite photographs of all time.

Photoshop disasters? OMGoodness--never knowed such a site was out thar'--fancy that?

Heh

this whole thang is a hoot an' a howl.

WHAT is it about women that we think we's gotta be a skeletorella (!! great word) when ain't no menfolks I knows of who likes that. Most fellas likes us'uns to be trim but padded enough to give a fella some comfort. La Diva is right.

An' Moi's right too-Demi has a purty face an at 47 is that possible on a diet of alfalfa sprouts and parsley?
